Its Fight Night! Its the New York Knicks versus Denver Nuggets...
NEW YORK (AP) -- Ten players, including NBA scoring leader Carmelo Anthony, were ejected for fighting during a wild brawl near the end of Saturday night's game between the Denver Nuggets and New York Knicks.
Punches were thrown and players flew into the crowd in the NBA's ugliest scene since Indiana Pacers players fought with Detroit Pistons' fans on the court and in the stands in 2004.
This time, it happened at Madison Square Garden, right in the hometown of NBA headquarters.
I accidentally saw this item from the CDR King site. I've wanted to buy this gadget, so I can play NBA LIve 2007. It is available in TPC, but I had a bad experince in buying a gaming hub there. After 1 month, the gaming hub conked out. Goodbye 400 pesos! I'm hoping that CDR King will seel this in a much lower price...Remember...I still don't have my 13th month pay...Poor me...
I guess I would have to agree with Candy that the number 13 really brings bad luck hehehehe! It is already December 14 and I haven't received my 13th month pay. Looks like I'm going to do a last minute shopping for my inaanaks and loved ones.
We had our Christmas Party last December 11. It was quite odd that we held it during a Monday night, but who cares, all we wanted is to have fun, receive gifts and drink booze!
It was my 2nd time to join in the company's christmas party. This time I was more involve because I was a part of the Programs and Games Committee. We divided the people in the company into different movie groups (e.g. Shrek, Flintstones, Pirates of the Caribbean, Bagets, Rizal and Grease). Each of the groups were assigned to do a presentation for the party. Also, part of the activity that we have thought about was the charades game. The charades game plus the presentation will determine the overall champion.
Good thing, the different groups were well prepared. As expected, all of their presentations were well applauded. The judges, including me, had a hard time in determining the winner.
As for the raffle, I could say that I was very lucky on that night. I won a DVD player which was one of the major prizes. Though, I would love to be picked by John Wood for his special prizes ( prizes include Ipods, Digicam, PSP, Headphones, MagicSing ), but this is better than going home empty handed. I noticed that our table was quite lucky when it came to raffle prizes. Bel won a PSP. Joy got the TV, aside from the Ipod that Jon Church gave to her and aside from being picked a winner in John Wood's raffle. She also got an ipod there, but she decided to just raffle it out again. Cands won a microwave oven. After my name was picked, Cands came next. I already have a dvd player, but I still don't have a microwave oven. Cands' predicament was the other way around, so right there and then, we decided to exchange prizes.
Teloworks' christmas party won't be complete without the usual dance and booze affairs. Actually, I was already tired to dance ( tired due to committee work hehehe! ) and I would love to just sit and watch people get drunk and get wasted hehehe, but I don't want to be a KJ!
All in all, I had another blast partying with the guys and gals of ePhil or Teloworks. Hopefully :) , we'll have another one next year and the year after next and the year after next after next after next...nahhh...OA na...hehehe!
It's Friday night and it's gimik night...errr!! Not this time though...I'm still recovering from flu-like symptoms and it's quite obvious that staying up late is a big no no! Besides, I have work tomorrow. Our company christmas party was moved from today to Monday. Obviously, I'll be busy partying with the folks at work to even worry about the next working day, so I'll just offset it to tomorrow.
While sweating it out at the gym, I received a sms message from Mike. It was an invite to play billiards. Damn, bad timing! I would have played if it was still early, but I guess I have to decline the invite this time. Next time, guys!
While on my way home, I also received a text message from Candy. She was having dinner with Don, Nikki and Tabel at Fridays Glorietta. I could have passed by, but when I read the message the jeepney that I rode was already at Ayala :'( Too bad!
So here I am right now, blogging my sorry predicament hehehe. At least, I was able to catch the replay of the classic Phoenix Suns vs New Jersey Nets, all right!
THE PESO will likely end the year at 49.25-49.50 to the dollar and further appreciate to 47.00-48.00 next year, according to projections by the British banking giant HSBC.
Oh yeah, what's new? I didn't continue reading the article, but if you're interested here it is.
I don't know if its the sudden change of weather or its just the time of the year for me to get sick, but I noticed that since 2004, I always get sick a week before the company Christmas party. Damn this cough and cold...I hate this feeling..hay..hay...hay!
